An electric winch through double pulley cca 800kp of one strengh

I add there on the winch another brake ( unless typical electromagentic brake on a winch el. motor ). This additional brake is made as mechanical one - disc type brake.

I do hope this could make the lift more secure.

An " H " is upward. The one is fully functionall, AZ 0-360deg. plus  EL 0-90deg. plus/minus 

 I considered all kinds of problems which could bring construction of a 4x xel. antennas system for 6m band and because of being a newcomer on this band and EME, I decided to start with a system 4x7el. Yagi only.

 

I have built for this system a tower 27m of height with a trailer powered by the electric wind up.

The tower is free standing and the trailer should carry out a total weight of 800kg of loads.

Based on my calculation a complete construction weight could be about 358kg from which:

trailer with AZ rotator PST71  cca 102kg

the " H " construction + EL.   cca 220kg  fully elevated

the 4x 7el. Yagi                    cca  36kg
